I am new to air guns and did some research as well as talked to a few guys and ended up buying a Hatsan 95 Vortex in .22.
I was looking in the under 200.00 range as my main use will be pest elimination. Found it at field supply on sale for 159
Im sure there are tons of other guns out there that are better and more expensive, but what I got I feel will do the job well.
will also use it for general shooting since .22LR ammo is near imposible to buy right now. this should fill in.

i've been shooting a Webley Tomahawk in .22 for years. bought it about 15 years ago, think i paid about £250 for it (can get them second hand these days). its never been a bad shot. powerful as hell, accurate, and LOUD! lol. i use it for target shooting mainly, and can easily hit a pop bottle top at 35yards, and the bottom of a can at 60yards.

I shoot 20m free standing on PL14 NRA targets. One of the members at HRC shoots a HW98 springer and often gets 100 standing with one. He also says if he had to choose between his HW98 and his wife he would miss the wife.
